The Rowing Canada Aviron Rules of Racing will apply at the CSSRA Regatta. Exceptions to the RCA rules as allowed under RCA rule 1.7 are summarized as follows:

  1. Rule 2.3 Age categories of Rowers - differ from the RCA Rules and are stated on the notice with the entry-form online

  2. Rule 2.5 Coxswains weights - for male and female coxswains for mens and womens events are less than the RCA minimum and stated on the notice with the entry-form online

  3. Rule 2.10 Lightweights - weight classes differ from the RCA categories and are stated on the notice with the entry form and the list of events online.

  4. Rule 7.2 Entry Form differs from the RCA standard entry form and is found online.

  5. Rule 9.3 Progression System with more than seven entries - Heats and semifinals only are used to determine the finalists.

  6. Rule 10.20 Appeals - appeals of the decisions of the Board of the Jury are made to the CSSRA Board of Directors.  Their decision is final.
